Keep Allen Beautiful
Keep Allen Beautiful (KAB) is an organization dedicated to developing and fostering programs which help make Allen a cleaner, healthier and more attractive city.
Established by Allen City Council in 1997, Keep Allen Beautiful is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community organization that works to educate and involve Allen residents in preserving our environment and improving our community's appearance.
Keep Allen Beautiful hosts annual programs and provides public education and outreach opportunities year-round.

The KAB Board consists of seven members appointed by the City Council. The board is supported by staff members in the Solid Waste Division of the Community Services Department. In addition to staff support, community volunteers are recruited year-round to participate in various activities, special events and educational programs.
Goals
- Increase public awareness through educational programs, including beautification projects and city-wide cleanup events.
- Decrease illegal dumping and support the prosecution of offenders.
- Improve our solid waste management through reducing, reusing, recycling and rebuying.
- Sponsor environmental projects.
Meetings
The Keep Allen Beautiful Board meets the third Tuesday of each month in the City Council Conference Room, located on the first floor of Allen City Hall (305 Century Parkway). If you want to learn more about the KAB Board, you can attend any open meeting.
Meeting notices and agendas are posted on the City website 72 hours before each meeting. See the meeting notices tab on the City's home page or sign up for meeting notices by selecting the 'City Meeting Notices' calendar.
Keep Allen Beautiful is frequently recognized by local, state and national organizations for its beautification and educational work. This recognition is only possible through the help of volunteers and partners who work with KAB every step of the way.
